This week's parsha is Ki Titze (Deuteronomy 21:10 - 25:19).
Seventy-four of the Torah's 613 mitzvot are told in this parshah. These include the laws of women captives, the inheritance rights of the first-born, the wayward and rebellious son, burial and dignity of the dead, returning a lost object, sending away the mother bird before taking her young, and putting fringes on our garments. The parsha also talks about military camps, sheltering slaves, loans, divorce, and giving real value in your dealings with people.
The parsha concludes with a command to remember what Amalek did to you on your way out of Egypt.
